What are reference resources?
Reference resources are typically encyclopedias, dictionaries, atlases, handbooks, and other general information sources covering the "basics" of a topic. Reference resources can be general (i.e. Encyclopedia Britannica) or subject-specific (i.e. Encyclopedia of Social Issues).
