  • Look at direct and indirect competitor profiles

Business Source Premier for Company Profiles

Company Profiles

Use the library's Business Source Premier database to locate company news and profiles.

To find Company Profiles in Business Source Premier, follow the steps below:

  1. Select the Company Profiles link from the blue bar at the top of the database screen.
  2. In the Browse for box, type a company name or a keyword related to your industry.
  3. You may wish to change the radio button to Match Any Words.

On your result list of Company Profiles, you can either:

  1. Click the company name for more information on the company, including their NAICS code.
  2. Click the MarketLine Report for detailed company information.

To find company news in Business Source Premier, it's best to conduct a keyword search for a specific company.  Follow the steps below to learn more.

  1. Enter a company name in the search box. Example: Starbucks
  2. Click the Full Text checkbox on the left side of your results
  3. On the left side of your results, look for the expandable Company heading.  Click it and select the company you are looking for.

INSIDE TIP: Under Source Types on the left side, click Show More to find SWOT Analyses, Market Research Reports, etc. for a company or industry
